Position is responsible for the sale of all Ham-Let products related to the assigned industry market and territory through direct sales efforts and/or coordination with local sales channels. Candidate will leverage sales and technical expertise as well as process knowledge to meet or exceed booking expectations for the assigned industry market. Position will lead the sales strategy and implementation for the industry segment across direct and indirect Ham-Let entities and insure achievement of the segment and territory sales goals.

Essential Job Functions:
• Promote Ham-Let business for the assigned industry and territory to realize monthly order and shipment plan.
• Plan, organize and accurately forecast industry business activities and results
Maintain current records in company CRM database with regards to account contacts, leads, opportunities and proposals.
• Provide technical and commerical support to assigned independent sales channels, including distributors, integrators and resellers.
• Act as the liaison between the customers and the company and the independent sales channels and the company.
• Drive achievement of revenue and bookings goals by focusing on account penetration and expansion.
• Create wining proposals in response to customer and 3rd party selling channel inquiries.
• Direct account management activities for the territory to develop long term relationships with key industry accounts.
• Leverage process knowledge and application expertise to identify new and creative applications for existing products within the assigned industry.
• Maintain industry rapport by participation through industry related forums and organizations.
• Work closely with the Marketing department to identify and assess new opportunities for existing products as well as opportunities for new product development.
• Gather market and competitive price data to assist in pricing analysis and strategy for assigned territory.
Other Job Requirements:
• Travel approximately 40%-60% of time in the assigned geographic territory.

Supervisory Responsibility:
• Oversee activities of independent selling channels within assigned territory.

Key Business Metrics:
• Sales performance against assigned quotas.
• Gross profit and discount performance.
• Expense management.

• Bachelor of Science in a technical discipline.

• Minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience with instrumentation in industrial applications related to Refining, Petrochemical, Power, Semiconductor, Natural Gas or other industries.
• Detailed knowledge of process instrumentation applications, especially related to flow and analytical systems.
• Experience in supporting and managing independent selling channels - distibutors, representatives, integrators or resellers .
• Strong capability in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.

Manages an assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenues, performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts following the company policies.

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate branch goals.
• Direct sales forecasting activities.
• Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers throughout the sales process,
from identification through qualification, closing of the order, and management of success of the
eventual user.
